Description
Hailing from the ancient city of Varanasi, this wooden hanging captures the essence of the city's oldest craft of toy making. This piece is a stunning blend of tradition and artistry. Its vibrant colours and intricate details bring the mythological scene to life.
According to a legend - Krauncha, a celestial musician, offended a sage and was cursed to become a giant mouse. This creature wreaked havoc until Lord Ganesha subdued it. Grateful, the mouse begged to serve the Lord, who granted his wish, making him his eternal vehicle.
This piece includes an aluminium string and a sleek MDF hook with a silicone adhesive backing for easy hanging on any flat surface. Simply peel off the protective layer from the adhesive and stick it onto a laminated or glass/metal shelf underneath. The adhesive will not damage the surface.
